- 1 13x9 pans
- 21 oz cherry pie filling, 1 can
- 20 oz crushed pineapple, 1 can
- 18 oz yellow cake mix, 1 box
- 1 cup walnuts or pecans (optional), chopped
- 8 ounces butter, 2 sticks, sliced 1tbp

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9 pan. |
2. Dump pineapple with juice into prepared pan. Spread evenly. Dump cherry pie filling. Spread evenly. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over cherry layer. Sprinkle pecans or walnuts over cake mix. Place butter slices evenly over mix. |
3. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Serve warm or at room temp. Optional--Top with whipped cream or serve with vanilla ice cream. |
4. NOTE: Any fruit fillings can be used, apple, peach, blueberry, pumpkin, etc. |
